Creature Comforts is the inspiration for the installation created by co-designers Brian Fitzsimmons and Joe Slack. While Brian's art tends to evoke a sense of danger, Joe adds a touch of humor. It is with this combination that the artists have created an entirely new experience. The artists used the materials of wood, glass and steel to fabricate the table and chairs.

Creature Comforts stands alone as a sculpture, yet functions for dining. It suggests interaction and feeding. The family gathers, every offspring has a unique personality and posture, but are siblings. The mother bears the bounty on her back. It takes place within the comfort of the nest. This is our nature.
